Smiley's is in the enigmatic little town of Bolinas. If you've never been, it's well worth a surriptitious visit just to walk on the beach and chat to the residents of this strange, off-the-beaten-track little town. Smiley's is supposedly the oldest running speakeasy saloon in California.
