The first instance of this event is on March 26 (a fourth Thursday), but will be on the third Thursdays of the month going forward. The open mic is followed by a songwriter showcase at The Big Easy, a hidden speakeasy jazz club tucked down a back alley in Petaluma. It's sponsored by The Secret Song Club and has a high calibre of Bay Area talent. Each showcase features three acts, who play for 30-40 minutes each. Free entry, no cover.

The Secret Song Club is an organization run by Inside Lands creator, Drew Pearce, that sponsors songwriter events around the San Francisco Bay Area.
