This open mic is held the first Monday of each month. The Freight is a great venue usually reserved for very big acts. The rules and format is pretty structured because it's a popular event and, frankly, it's an honor to get onto that stage.

Doors open at 6:30pm, the lottery for performance spots is held at 7:20. The show starts promptly after the drawing. Please note, a ticket for open mic does not guarantee a spot to play! Performance slots are drawn via lottery.

Rules:
all ages · Solo performers get to play one song; groups get to play two songs. Management reserves the right to award a performer an extra song now and then, for any reason management deems appropriate.
Gear:
Professional music venue with a large stage, lights, and sound. Some of the world's best performers have been on this stage! Specifically, they have vocal mics, instrument mics, DI boxes with ¼” cables, stage monitors, chairs and stools, and a piano onstage for your use.
